Open Arms
Strategy Web Design
Open Arms is a non-profit humanitarian organization that rescues people in emergency situations in the Mediterranean Sea and assists with emergencies on land. After 10 years of operation, it needed a website that reflected its new narrative and growth as an organization. A space to truthfully explain the reality faced by migrants and also highlight the strength of the community that makes its work possible.
To achieve this, we defined a new content architecture that places both members and volunteers, as well as donors, at the center.
At the same time, we designed a digital experience (UX/UI) focused on responsible conversion: turning interested visitors into people who decide to take action, without interrupting or pressuring them, while respecting the sensitivity of the humanitarian narrative.
The communication challenge was twofold: explaining a very harsh reality while simultaneously strengthening the pride and sense of belonging of a community that saves lives every day.
Additionally, we implemented a flexible and secure CMS, which allows the team to easily manage and continuously update content. All of this was coordinated with the platforms and agencies that collaborate with the organization (e-commerce, donations, membership, newsletters, etc.), ensuring
A solid and coherent platform to project the growth of Open Arms and consolidate its humanitarian mission.
