For the celebration of International Women’s Day (8M), the Department of Interior and Public Safety of the Generalitat de Catalunya commissioned us to lead the concept development, art direction and creative production of an institutional event aimed at reinforcing the message of equality and creating an engaging and memorable experience.

At Ondeuev, we managed the project end-to-end at La CIBA, developing the strategy, visual identity and all graphic, scenographic and audiovisual materials to ensure consistent communication before, during and after the event.

The challenge: designing an institutional event with its own identity

To create an institutional event with a distinctive personality that went beyond a commemorative act.

We needed to build a cohesive visual identity capable of conveying values such as equality, commitment and public service, while coordinating multiple formats and channels -physical space, stage design, projections, social media and audiovisual content -under one unified narrative. All within a technically complex production involving multiple teams.

The solution: creative strategy, art direction and full-scale production

We developed a comprehensive creative strategy, defining a central concept and art direction that guided the entire visual ecosystem of the event.

From there, we created a flexible and scalable graphic system applied across all materials: merchandising, roll-ups, signage, large-scale projections, digital assets and audiovisual content. At the same time, we coordinated stage management and technical production to ensure a smooth and coherent execution in real time.

The result was an institutional event with a fully integrated visual experience, where space, message and content worked together as one voice.

Results: more visible, cohesive and impactful communication

The event established a clear, solid and recognisable image, improving both the perception and the impact of the institutional message among attendees and across digital channels.

The creative system streamlined team coordination, reinforced consistency across all touchpoints and generated reusable audiovisual content that extended the reach of communication on social media.

A project that demonstrates how event design, art direction and full-scale production can transform an institutional event into a more visible and impactful experience.
